Level 2 deepens the work of living truthfully by immersing the actor in the “reality of doing.” The principles of activity, specificity, stakes, and emotional preparation train the actor to live in the moment with their partner, connecting more fully to acting impulses and given circumstances.

About your Instructor:
Taurean Cavins-Flores has been acting for 30 years and has been acting professionally on both
coasts for over a decade. He majored in theater in college and then attended The National Theatre Conservatory. From there, he moved to L.A. and studied at Playhouse West for 7 years. Since moving to Atlanta, he has been coaching privately and teaches at Drama Inc. Taurean is utterly delighted to be sharing the life giving gift of acting with you. On television, he has appeared on ‘Dynasty’, Tyler Perry’s ‘The Oval’ and the HBO miniseries ‘The Staircase’. Theater roles have included John Cassavetes in ‘Independent’ by John D. Babcock III, Peck in ‘How I learned To Drive’ by Paula Vogel, Bobbie in 'North of Providence’ by Edward Allen Baker, Lieutenant Caro in ‘Between Riverside and Crazy’ by Stephen Adly Guirgis and Judas in ‘The Last Days of Judas Iscariot’ also by Stephen Adly Guirgis.
