About the Class
The key to your success as an actor is “Living TRUTHFULLY under imaginary circumstances”. How can we accomplish that?
We believe it starts with the Meisner Technique and understanding its key factors of being in the moment, listening, freely being able to use your imagination, and letting yourself be affected truthfully by the other human in front of you.
In the class you will…
-Learn a brief history of Sanford Meisner and the Meisner Technique.
-Put to practice the Repetition exercises needed for success with the Meisner Technique.
-Discover the truth of moment-to-moment acting from traditional Meisner inside-out exercises.
If you don’t have a foundation, everything you try to build will eventually crumble.
There are no prerequisites for this class.
**All Adult classes 18 and over unless otherwise specified.

Advanced Chubbuck will build on the foundation created in Intro To Chubbuck and apply that to scene work at a deeper level.
IP: Intro To Chubbuck - THURS EVE
This technique maintains a focus on producing and nurturing working actors in a rigorous professional environment. This class is best suited to students who have prior acting experience (not required) and have little to no technique training.
